Requesting the ability to split the 2.4 and 5ghz bands to seperate SSID's.
Definitely need this ability. I have an AC I cannot currently connect too. I have several smart home products that need 2.4 GHZ to be stable and not have connection issues, a top rated baby monitor from Amazon. I thought this was like a normal thing. I have not seen a router in years that could not split bands and broadcast separate SSID for each. I know a lot of devices can detect the 2.4 GHZ band and connect to it, like my printer did, luckily! But, not all can. I might send this router back and I got the base and 2 satellites, UGH! Also, other Nighthawk routers have this ability as when i searched the support thread it said this could be changed in advanced settings and come to find out it cannot. Which mesh routers from Netgear have the ability to split?
