Good morning.
I was using Nighthawk M5 and previously used M1 and there is one thing, which could be improved in future models - number of supported frequencies.
I am located in Poland and most of the mobile internet providers are using FDD 2100 Mhz (n1),
however there is one internet provider that is using TDD 2600 Mhz (n38), so I am not able to use 5G network of that service provider.
It would be nice that future mobile broadband products would support more frequencies (ideally it would be as much as possible),
so we would avoid such surprises in the future.
Currently on the box we do have list of supported 3G / LTE frequencies, but for 5G we do have "commonly used" and it looks like
that supporting just "commonly used" frequencies does not work in some cases.
Best Regards.
Piotr

Here are frequencies used in NAS (North America) and EUS (Europe) models:
North America
4G/LTE bands
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 14, 25, 29, 30, 38, 41, 46, 48, 66, 71
5G/NR bands
- n2, n5, n25, n41, n66, n71, n78
3G/WCDMA bands
- 1, 2, 5, 8
Europe
4G/LTE bands
- 1, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 405G/NR bands
- n1, n28, n77, n78
3G/WCDMA bands
- 1, 2, 5, 8
I am located in Poland and usually for 5G n1 frequency is used,
except network provider that I am using, which is using n41 frequency,
so it looks like that when I would like to use 5G I would need North America version as Europe version does not support that one.
Would not be easier to have one version, which would have the following frequencies supported:
(* - marked frequencies taken from EUS version)
4G/LTE bands
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8*, 12, 13, 14, 20*, 25, 28*, 29, 30, 38, 40*, 41, 46, 48, 66, 71
5G/NR bands
- n1*, n2, n5, n25, n28*, n41, n66, n71, n77*, n78
3G/WCDMA bands
- 1, 2, 5, 8
Best Regards.
