Please update the Traffic Meter limit feature for the Nighthawk R8000 and or ALL netgear routers to have an increased Monthly Limit that can account into the Tbytes. Comcast has set a data cap to 1 terabyte and i am in danger of going over the limit this month so i decided to see if i could control it through my router alas i cannot fit the 1000000Mb number needed in the box... it only allows a six digit number whereas i need a seven digit number for the terabyte limit as a megabyte equivalent.
Also is there a way we can see what the monthly usage is on each individual computer tablet phone game system etc that is hooked to our network? That could be very useful also.
My family are gamers and are constantly downloading games on every console known to man let alone the constant 0 to 50 plus gigabyte updates we are seeing and constant updates on PC games and streaming believe me we use the gigs. Now sadly we have to limit and can't given the current setup.
Do you think we could get this added in an update please?
Thank you for your time,
ROTIC

Hi ROTIC,
Thank you for the suggestion on increasing the traffic limit meter for the R8000. We will review your idea for consideration. :]

Don't hold your breath Rotic I've been waiting months & months to get an update for just such an increase in the traffic meter limit for my R8500 router. There have been updates but adding even a single digit to the meter has not made an appearance. Nothing seems to budge Netgear to make the change.
