Option to stop all automatic firmware updates please

Current Firmware: 2.3.5.30

Hi, I often have extended periods away from my home and for such occasions use a 5G Store Remote Reset Switch to monitor my internet connection, using UIS/ping response. This works fine except I have the fear that Netgear automatically download and install a firmware upgrade to my Orbi Router - which would cause catastrophic failure - in that when the router reboots dunig installation the UIS response would stop. And even though I have delays set, the device would be rebooted again and again during firmware installation which inevitably would corrupt the installation and the entire system would fail and maybe the router damaged too. So all I ask for is a switch/button within the router settings to allow for automatic firmware installation to be disabled. This must also be a permanent option to as not to wrongly default when the router reboots and also Netgear cannot over-ride it when they choose. Thank you. I purchased this and other Orbi's in particular for this option - but now Netgear have removed it - very disappointing!
