I would like to see a check-box option to allow an administrator to turn off wireless backhaul between satellites if desired.
Rationalle:
- If you have wired/ethernet backhaul to your satellite(s), it is unnecessary
Benefits:
- Security
- Less Wear and Tear on hardware (less heat generation as well)
- Clearner RF environment
Testing:
- Have used a telnet script to turn off & on wireless backhaul -- works fine without it.
Recommendation:
- Make this option part of advanced setup

I am having interference issues with xbox audio. I need to turn off the backhaul. this is making me crazy. i ran cables to all my satalites to stop it, and realized i cant turn it off. so dumb.
Ideally it would allow me to use those channels for front haul if wireless backhaul is disabled.
the excuse "its for redundency" is dumb. Most people use only wifi with no redundency. Its my house not AWS.
