Hi Netgear Community! I have an Orbi RBR750 that I am running in AP mode. I know that VLAN tagging isn't going to be implemented in this home level device, but here's another idea: Could the guest traffic be instead routed only to one of the LAN ports (say a fixed port #3 for example) with a checkbox to enable in the GUI? This allows the regular WiFi traffic to go on the WAN port, while the guest traffic goes on the designated LAN port and then my external router can control what the guests can see.
Current system: RBR750, firmware version V7.2.6.31_5.0.24

Something not possible for Orbi home systems and for AP mode.
If you need specific traffic routed for specific ports, you should look in to a managed switch.

The reason to ask for routing specific traffic isn't because of switch limitations, I am asking for guest wifi isolation reasons while in AP mode, so that downstream switches & routers can choose what to allow the guest wifi to access. VLAN tagging is easiest, but NETGEAR refuses to do so. This is the next easiest method I can think of, thus a feature request for it.

Again, something not supported in AP mode. NG had Orbi Pro that had VLAN tagging options on those systems. Sadly, those systems are not EoL and not sure if NG will be doing anything new. Seems to be focusing on current WiFi product. Most Orbi Home class system don't have much need advanced features like that in the home. Maybe for business class systems. Most home users are average and just want there systems up and running and working which is why NG may not lean towards more advanced features in home systems.
Good Luck.
