  • Hello,

I have a local DNS server on my LAN hosting a local DNS zone (home.local). Nevertheless, as it's not possible in the DHCP configuration of my Orbi routeur to set DHCP option 15 (DNS Domain Name) to "home.local", i have to write the full DNS name (FQDN: Fully Qualified Domain Name) of any local host (ex: hostname.home.local) instead of just using the short name (ex: hostname) and let the system add the DNS suffix (home.local) by itself.

If you can add to Orbi DHCP configuration the possibility to add DHCP option 15 (DNS Domain Name), it would be great.

Thanks in advance for your help and feedback...

    Best Regards,

    Stephane BOUGES.

  • Hi all,

Can you add this option in the lan settings page of the orbi and all other routers (for example rax200) ?

    Needed for multiple usage.

    Thank you,

    Regards.
