It would be great to have options for the top lights on both the router and satelite Orbi's. The information about connectivity is welcome, so it would be nice to see it outside of the initial boot/sync for troubleshooting at a glance (or on demand). Providing something in the Genie app for user preferences such as:
- LED on post boot (current default)
- LED always on
- LED intermittently on (on for 10 seconds every xx minutes)
- LED on during timeframe (user selectable days & times; e.g. during the evening hours when a user is most likely home)
- LED always off
i registered specifically to bug u to add this idea ..
I copy paste earlier review I found ready exactly what am thinking of..
I was surprised that the led is not lit all time..
I chose Orbi over AmpliFi and one thing I liked on AmpliFi's was the screen and the LED light..
I don’t care having a screen on my router but ambient lighting would make my ORBi PERFECT.

Leds to let you the status would nice one more added touch would a oled screen to read out connection speed,number of devices and much more possible of more information about the routers functions and maybe a rgb color changing led to change the feeling of the room in future redesigns of the Orbi mest system.
