Please make a update for the Orbi RBR20, so we can separate the 2.4ghz and 5ghz SSID's.
I want to chose on each device wich network it will be connected to. So the 5.0ghz network will be clean ...

Hi I'm new to the Orbi world, coming from Velop. My system is 1 RBR50 and 2 RBS50 units with wired backhaul.
So far so good, except for many 5Ghz devices connecting to 2.4Ghz, as well as some devices connecting to nodes further away.
I am also a tech by trade and install many Mesh systems. I find Orbi to be very good with many enhancements over other brands, but also missing some features as well.
Resurecting this thread, Velop offers separation of 2.4 a 5Ghz. This way all 5Ghz nodes always properly connect. Implementing this on the Orbi would be an improvement, especially in the business world. Those who wish to separate can, and those who do not wish to don't have to.
The other issue is several wireless devices connect to nodes further away, rather than the closest one, while others connect to the closest node. I see, when searching for WIFI on some devices, all 3 SSID nodes show up, while on other devices it only show 1 SSID. Trial and error can get me to be able to connect the device to the closest node, on the devices that show all 3 SSID. But it's hit and miss on the devices that show only 1 SSID. I have not been able to resolve this issue. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
