If your loading v7 FW on the RBS and trying to connect it to the CBR750, this will not work as the CBRs v4 FW is NOT compatible with v7 FW seen on RBS that get connected to a RBR750 series system which supports v7 FW. RBR750 and RBS750, this will work.
v7 FW loaded on RBS750s that connect to a CBR750 unit loaded with v4 FW will stop connecting and loose sync.
The CBR750 series only has v4 FW and there is no information if or when NG may support v7 FW on the CBR750. So users will need to keep v4 FW on both the CBR750 and ANY RBS750 that connects to a CBR750 series gateway to ensure the RBS maintain connections to the CBR.
All information regarding this is here including where to get v4 FW for the RBS750 series when connected to a CBR750 is found here:
There are many posts and information in regarding to updating RBS. Commonly known that all RBS need to be updated prior to a RBR unit being updated.
You should search the forums for this information and or post in the more appropriate forums to post, or seek help or additional information for better visibility by users.
Good Luck.

Signal boosting this post. Indeed, an RBS750 that came with a CBR750 has v4 firmware and will not connect as a satellite. After connecting the satellite wired, locating it in the network by IP, logging in with admin/password as login to upload the v7 firmware, the satellite immediately connected to the router that was hard wired. I didn't have to "add satellite" nor hit sync.
