Just FYI, the 9 series Orbi system that just released last year supports mixed mode. It works and works well.
So hopefully, NG can get the same thing working on the Orbi 3/7 and 8 series systems again. Initially NG had it but there were problems found so they had to remove it. Problems were found on the WPA3 side of things which was out of NGs hands early on.
