parental controls

This is really not a new idea.  I was given this link by Live Chat.  I recently "upgraded" from Airport Time Capsule with an Apple Extreme to Orbi + Satellite.  I have placed the "" around upgraded because to my amazement and strong disapproval, I now find that the only way to engage the parentals controls that were so simple in Airport Utility, will now cost me $5/mn or $50/yr, require a sepatate app (Disney/Circle) and the inability to use my laptop which us the center of our household. My eyesight is not great, and I NEVER use my iPhone for this kind of manipulation.

Yuck and Aargh, if I may be so blunt!
