The ide is to have a way to restore router setting after factory reset without passing all standard configuration steps. As for now there are several anoing steps which have to be completed prior to we get the restore from backup panel. It'll be much easier if the panel is displayed at the configuration prosess start either as option in Orbi mobile or orbilogin.com page.

It is often a very bad idea to restore old settings, it can bring bugs back from the dead. That's the whole idea of a reset.

Do you mean the todays restore from backup panel has no sense? Why the router cannot be so smart to validate the backup data and reject error prone settings?
My idea is to shorten the way of restore data.
