I'm not a networking expert and not sure if the idea that I have makes sense. I also have Chromecast and having the same dilemma. What if we uncheck the box "Allow guests to see each other and access my local network," put the Chromecast devices on the local network and put your other devices to the guest network. Basically, switching the guest and local networks. Would that work? I think if the devices are on your primary network, the devices will be able to see each other. Are there any security issues using your "Guest" network as your primary or local network?
