R8000 Guest Network Needs Separated Wireless Isolation and Local Network Access
Guest Network now combined the 2 functions "Wireless Isolation" and "Local Network Access" as a single option. In the old days, they are separate options. My Chromecast does NOT work on Guest Net...
Yeah, I posted on this thread 3 years ago and only crickets from Netgear. From their lack of response to a legitiment problem for an expensive router, I've stoped using Netgear and replacing my routers. Anyone who asks, and I'm in IT so it's a lot, I recommend NOT purchasing any NETGEAR products. Other brands may not support their products well, but we know that NETGEAR doesn't support theirs or cares about customers so it's a good chance they will have a better experience. The other brands can't be worse than NETGEAR!
