re-enable the WDS function in the next router firmware!?

Hey,

i wanted to ask if the WDS function is comming back in the next Router firmware or is it disabled for ever?

I want to have this function back but i don't want to lack in security or performance using older firmware.

Is there something planned or do i have to drill holes in my walls till they look like "switzer chees" or is it posible to activate this feature by hand?

my Models that im using:

D6300 [V1.0.0.72_1.0.72] (base)

R6250 [V1.0.1.84_1.0.78] (repeater)

DGN2200M [V1.0.0.35_1.0.21WW] (repeater)
