Request for Advanced Driver Options for AXE3000 (A8000) WiFi Adapter
Hi Netgear Team,
I'm currently using the AXE3000 (A8000) WiFi 6E USB adapter and would like to request that future driver updates include more advanced configuration options—similar to those offered by some other vendors.
The features I’d love to see include:
The ability to select individual wireless standards (e.g., a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
A toggle for “Fat Channel Intolerant” to manage channel bonding
Transmit power control
The option to completely disable specific bands (e.g., fully disable 2.4GHz)
Human Presence Detection (if supported by hardware)
Improved handling and access to Ultra High Band (UHB) features in the 6GHz spectrum
These advanced settings are especially valuable for users needing granular control over their wireless setup—whether for minimizing interference in crowded RF environments or for precise testing and optimization.
For reference, I’ve attached a screenshot showing the advanced driver options provided by TP-Link for a $70 adapter. This shows the level of control that’s possible and expected at this price point.
Is there any possibility these features could be considered for future updates?
Thank you for your time and consideration!

Thanks for the info! Could you please let me know what the alternative is, where I can find it, and how I can use it?
