Smart network

Here is what we want. Make is a wireless model that we can set up as a head unit and has POE on 4 ports when powered. If we plug another one in to it and don’t power it it is powered by POE and automatically set up as an access point without routing. Allow us to control all the access points from the head unit. Allow us to plug power into the outer ones to light up the POE and expand further. We want network maps and a built in spectrum analyzer that recommends the best channels and gives us an option to allow it to automatically shift to a quiet space. We want syslog that we can point to a log collector. Also, give us a routing protocol to be excited about that isn’t RIP and RIP v2. Something like The old Cisco EIGRP. Build something for us advanced home users and gamers. In the interface, show us where our bottle necks are and give suggestions on how to fix them. And don’t make us install software to manage the routers. Allow us VLANs we can put TVs and doorbells on and more secure vlans for our precious stuff that holds all our pictures. Give us alerting by sms or email for problems like a poorly performing device. Finally, also give us a CLI interface as well so we can also manage it by SSH.
