I am surprised that I have to install a 3rd party firmware like DD-WRT to enable SNMP Support for my Nighthawk R7000 Router.
As the firmware is licensed under GPL3 and is open source, is there a location we can download the source to add this functionality while remaining with the "core" software which comes with the router?
Many monitoring apps can use the Unix login to the router, but that seems like a security hole.
I would suggest a privatero string be setup in the new version of the code.
