Within the Orbi's web admin interface, the ability to sort the attached device list is conspicuously missing, yet very helpful for seeing what is going on at a glance. Most routers have this capacity. Essential user parameters would be to sort by IP address, connection type, or "connected orbi" i.e. sorted list of what's connected to the router, and each of the satellites, with the fixed listing being by IP address.

Would also like the ability to sort the list of reserved DHCP address clients by IP address. Doesn't sort currently.

I agree 100%. It is a CHORE to find a device that is supposed to be on-line when the order appears to be random. Silly me. I had assumed that devices would appear in order by IP address. Why not click on any column and have the entries sorted that way?

I was about to submit this same request and found this post.
Are there any updates?

On Christmas Day it will be a year since the original request. This is frustrating, because my Netgear Nighthawk R7000 sorts on every column. Although I notice that when I connect to the web interface on the R7000 the page is titled, "Netgear Genie". When I connect to the Orbi, the page is titled, "Orbi, Better WiFi Everywhere." (i.e. NOT "Netgear Genie!") Orbi firmware is based on OpenWrt. I know that OpenWrt supports the R7000, but I do not know if Netgear used OpenWrt for the R7000.
You'd think that some engineer would have an hour to kill before a meeting and would say, "what the heck, I'll just fix this."

I, too, have been waiting impatiently for the ability to sort by IP address. This feature is available on most every other competing mesh router. My NETGEAR R7000 had that capability. Strange that the same company would eliminate a very convienient feature!

This would be very beneficial feature to have when troubleshooting connection issues with devices. It would make it much easier to locate a device in the listing rather than have to scroll through what appears to be a random sequence of devices.
A simple click on the column header option to sort that column would be awesome. I've seen this in other routers and it was extremely useful.
Can I upvote this suggestion?

Can I infer from this thread nothing has changed and the Orbi RBR50 still has no way to sort the Client list? Surprised that it has been over two years and no responses or solutions from netgear.

I have firmware 2.5.1.8 (the latest) and Attached Devices display cannot be sorted by clicking on a column. My opinion is (1) no one with any authority at Netgear pays attention to this "Idea Exchange". (2) Making "cosmetic improvements" in a product that is clearly "not the future" is probably a very low priority. (3) I think the only way to see this is if someone gets embarassed about lacking it in the new AX product line, fixes it, and the new code gets accidentally back-ported to the origiinal Orbi. In other words, "When Pigs Fly".

Surprisingly enough the RBR850 AX system does allow you to click on the column headings to sort the results. It's too bad that many of the other features of the RBR50 are missing.

This being an old post everyone probably knows this by now. On the RBR50 you can sort columns for attached devices but a caveat. The only one that can do this is in the Advanced, Security, Access Control tab. All the others are still jumbled and static.
Also this is the web based interface.
