I would love to be able to "pin" a device to the Orbi router instead of it connecting to the satellite.
I have a bluray player that I want always connected to the router instead of the satellite in the other room, however wired connection is not an option at this time. My previous Nighthawk system was able to do this.

That is down to the device that is trying to connect to the wifi, especially for Mesh networks.
Wired could be an option with Powerline Ethernet. Works well for static devices that have an Ethernet port.

I want to avoid wired connection with my fancy expensive new wifi system. It would be super nice if i could block a device from connecting to a satellite. that would completely solve the problem.
my previous nighthawk router/extender could do this. why can't orbi do it?
