Time schedule access to individual devices (the kids Ipads ect.)
I have a Orbi system, but I want to be able to stop the wifi for my kids at nighttime. The wifi system, have to work for the rest of home. Hope this will be a option on a future firmware update.
Best regards

I bought a NightHawk AC1750 and I'm very diappointed. :( My last router is a Tenda and I'm lucky because I did'nt sell them, I will rechange it.
The NetGear software is like something from the last century, the surface and the funciton looks like an old windows panel. I did'nt belive to my eyes.
The greatest problem to me that I can't to controll separate the devices in the time schedule. The whole panel and the system is a very bad and old.
I can only to swith off or on every devices same time. I can't belive it. :(((((( In the software of Tenda I can to control separate every devices network time and the bandwith controll also. I can to control witch devices how fast speed can up/down load (separate up and separate download speed). So I will give back the NetGear router to the dealer and switch back the Tenda. Som little thing to be absent From the software of Tenda, but much more modern and sophisticated versus NetGear. Good luck to the NetGear guys, but I will back maybe few year leather. Till then do it harder and work mucht more about your sofware!......and please look around the world, by other manufacturer and please test other product also in same category. Regards: Pal

Total agree, it is just very basic thing that a router like should be able to handle it. I got a R6900 nighthawk paid over $150 for it.
I am super surpise that it doesn't have this simple feature to schdedule a wifi access on the connect device. I just one post on the communities suggest to setup a timer to attach the router and then shutdown to the router...man..are we living in 21st century?
That is just silly solution that means even myself want to stay up late to do work will get suffer.
The router already have a scheduler which allow to block certain website on the device...why not use block the device on certain time?
I saw so many people talking about this router is good and reliable and it doesn't have this simple feature which this day use to block the kids trying to use the device to go online at certain time
Check this thread..(back in 2014, NetGear simply just ignore it)
