It would be interresting to have a feature able to use the previous config from a R7000 (for example) and to be able use the config when you install it on a R9000 - X10. It woul be a huge time saver...
I really dont see the problem of enabling the usb port on the router to export or inport setup data about the routers setup as long the control planel dose not change in layout and functions. New functions and control designs may be the big problem.
