Yes I have tried the flashing and it goes half way then stops. Think netgear was smarter this time to prevent people to flash this hardware. So far I am sitting on extra routers because its cheaper to buy combo and just used the satellite. At this point i have 6 satellites connected to my network. Still sitting on extra 4 routers. Hope sooner than later they can allow the routers to be flashed to satellites or just add satellite mode.
