It's been months since a netgear moderator said that the netgear program would be getting a "UI facelift" and that hasn't happened. When is it coming? What is Netgear doing to improve the user experience and provide better software/firmware for their products?

Indeed. Netgear is rare in not delivering software updates automagically. That should be another suggestion.

Netgear genie version 2.38 for windows. Supposedly the latest one but the program hasn’t been updated in a while.
Netgear shouldn’t make customers look for updates. They need to provide them automatically. Make it easier. This is why their “we won’t tell you anything” mentality doesn’t work.
Which genie are you talking about? Which version are you on?
Netgear does not have an effect way of announcing updates on this front. You have to go and look for them.
