Wifi stability

Dear Netgear Developers:
Please, figure out why the wifi on most of your Nighthawk dual and tri band routers have a bad habit of dropping connections. I sit less than 10 feet from my home router and I am now defaulted to the 2.4 band with my Samsung Galaxy S7 edge (though this has happened with many different devices) and in a typical evening I will have the wifi suddenly disconnect. To resolve I simply change over to the 5Ghz then back again. I have tested my wired connections and they never lose connection. This is both frustrating and expensive if unaware as it can put me using my cell data at a much higher expense. I am confident that something in software or hardware is not working and I now see enough posts on this issue to assume this should be a high priority issue. I'm very close to changing over to a different manufacturer if you dont find a resolution soon. If it's a decision to use low grade components to save money then Netgear needs to decide if they want to stay in business because people are going to and already are leaving for other manufacturer's products.
