How to build a firmware from the GPL source code
Hey there,
I got a WAX206 Wi-FI 6 last Friday, and I download the GPL source code from https://kb.netgear.com/2649/NETGEAR-Open-Source-Code-for-Programmers-GPL, The file is WAX206_V1.0.4.0_Source.rar source code. But I can't find any tutorial for building the firmware, and also I can't find any README on it.
Does anyone try to build it? Thank you!

You are posting in the wrong forum (since the WAX206 is an access point, not a NAS).
I'm tagging the mods ( Marc_V and JeraldM ) so they can move it for you.

Note that generally speaking Netgear products include some open source, but also proprietary software that is not public. So in most cases, you cannot build a full firmware binary from the open source alone.
