How to mount your WAX630, WAX630E, WAX625, & WAX615 to Siemon Max Wifi Faceplate & Single Gang Box

How to mount your WAX630, WAX630E, WAX625, & WAX615 to Siemons' Max Wifi Faceplate & Single Gang Box in the Wall or Ceiling.

Items Required:

• Single Gang Device Box
• Max Wifi Faceplate (PN MX-WB1-02-02) Siemon (screws included)
• Z-Max Cat 6A UTP Outlet Siemon
• SkinnyPatch Cat6A Modular Cords Siemon
• 2X 6-32 x 0.5" Machine screws
• #25 Drill Bit 0.1495"/3.8mm
• WAX630/630E Mounting Plate or WAX625/615 Mounting Plate

Steps:

1. Drill one #25 hole spaced on center 3 9/32"/83.3mm from the smaller key slot hole located on center.  

    

    

2. Mount the Max Wifi Faceplate to the Single Gang Box with the two screws provided.
3. Mount the AP mounting plate to the faceplate with the 6-32 screws. Note: Orientation for wall mounting. Since the RJ45 port on the AP is always facing up, I mounted the outlets facing up.
4. Rotate the Access Point onto the mount until it locks.
5. Plug in the patch cord to the Device.
