WAC124 Locked out
All of a sudden, I'm locked out of my WAC-124. The email address I always logged in with is not 'registred' for my device. The device has been running smoothly for about 4 years. The same happened wi...
A power cycle did not change anything. Still refused.
Did a full reset, took me more than an hour, everything went fine until I connected the device in AP mode to my router and the internet connection went online.
Same result: cannot access my router, once it's connected to the internet. I'm being refused from the NETGEAR server.
Is this planned obsolescence? Could anyone from Netgear staff confirm?
Then I know what's going on.
I'm not amused. Why am I being locked out from my device from a centralised server?
I created a new acount, with a different email address. Same result: refused by the server.
After doing the full reset, I could not get in. But then I saw a message about a firmware update.

If you factory reset, then you should be able to access the units web page unit default log in. Check the user manual or quick installation guide on how to set up the unit from a fresh factory reset. Should be able to use a ethernet connected PC and web browser pointed to an IP address for the unit.
