WNDAP360 Boot loop

While I appreciate that the WNDAP360 is end-of-life, we're still using these access points at a school with a WC7520 wireless controller.  One of the APs appears to be stuck in a boot loop.  When powered, I can see the following:

  • Power light - solid orange
  • Activity light - solid green
  • Network light - solid green
  • 2.4 GHz light - off
  • 5 GHz light - off
  • The reset button clicks but has no effect.
  • The AP is not pingable by either it's previous (static) IP address or the default IP address.
  • Attaching a console cable, the following text is repeatedly displayed every 5 seconds:

U-Boot 1.1.4 dni-1.07 (Jul 7 2009 - 14:17:28)

AP94 (ar7100) U-boot 0.0.12
DRAM: b8050000: 0xc0140180

It almost looks like the reset is stuck on!?

I can find anything on the Community describing this particular problem.  Can anyone offer any advice on how to recover the access point?

Thanks,

Adrian.

    asp_adrian,

    Welcome to our community! :)

You cannot access the admin page of the WNDAP360 if the firmware is from the controller. You may need to do a factory reset using the 30/30/30 method and try to install a standalone firmware by accessing its IP.

I'll be sending you the instruction via private message.

    Regards,
