AX2700 (CAX30) Assigning same IP to multiple devices
In the last 2 weeks, my router has been assigning the same IP address to multiple devices and it only seems to happen when I turn on my hard-wired desktop computer. The 2 devices that are always assigned the same IP address are the desktop and my Visio Chromecast TV. Once I reboot the router, the conflict goes away, but why all the sudden when I boot up the desktop is it trying to assign the same IP address for a device that's already assigned? This just started happening. I don't have any static IP's set up and have made no changes to the settings.

If its just those 2 devices, you could go in and reserve their own ip address
- CharleeyAspirantI'll give it a try and see what happens. I just think it's strange that it just started randomly doing it. I've had it since December and haven't had any issues until now.

Just wanted to provide an update in case anyone else has this same issue. I still don't know what caused the conflict but I changed the Chromecast TV connection from the 5Ghz to the 2.4Ghz and that seemed to resolve the issue.
