Amber blinking lights
So my light went out and my cable modem started blinking, I tried restarting it with the button in the back but nothing happens.

Are you able to ping the modem or log into it?
It almost looks like your power supply isn't supplying the power. It'd be worth checking.
do you have a different adapter you could try. Make sure the voltage and polarity are the same and the amperage is at least the same.
