Any more updates on the CM3000
Any more updates on the CM3000? I saved 20$ by upgrading from 1Gbs with the flex box to 1.2Gbs without the flex box… I got all excited and then realized that my CM1200 is maxed at 1GB using a sing...
IF you have a supporting wifi router system that supports LAG on the WAN side, then you could give LAG a try on the CM1200 and see if you see anymore increase in speeds.
NG doesn't give out information when new stuff will be seen. Will need to keep an eye on NGs store or in the retail sector to see when it will appear.Any and all updates are between the ISP and NG. I'm sure they are working on things. Takes time.
Check this out… I enabled LAG… two cables Wan + P1 and then P1+P2 on the modem. Jumped from 940Mbs to this 1.4gbs aggregate throughput.

- Heck yeah! I even had a matched Cat8 cable … over kill I know… but that was the dream when I first upgraded… 1.4gbs I am so excited! I hope this means no more network studders when everyone is streaming… and gaming…
- Oh and yeah… 2-3 people on web compressed 4k streaming…and then maybe YouTube… and then maybe some games running at the same time…. The kids do like 3 things at once…. But not 100% sure that my connection was 100% utilized or maybe just some wifi traffic congestion… but at least now I can rule out throughput
