C6250 Update Firmware
I had this modem/router stored away for a couple years. I pulled it back out when I moved recently and it periodically drops the internet several times a day. I figured maybe it is that the firmware that needs to be updated but I don't see anywhere on the Netgear genie where I can update the firmware. I downloaded the nighthawk app which redirected me to the routerlogin screen/Netgear genie because it said my firmware is outdated.
I'm using WOW internet which is not in the list of the current firmware.
Can someone let me know if there is a way for me to update the firmware within netgear genie or if this is something that WOW needs to update on their end? I attached a screenshot of what the netgear genie screen looks like.

Re: C6250 Update Firmware
FW is not upgradable by users on cable modems. ISPs control this. So you'd have to install it fully and activate it with an ISP and have them send out any updated FW to the modem from there side. Some ISPs will not update user owned modems. Ask the ISP about this.
Good Luck.
