C7000V2 Firmware out of date on Nighthawk App
ISP: Spectrum
Hardware: C7000v2
Version: 1.02.09
I have the C7000v2 and have the network up and running (wi-fi is operational) I tried logging into the Nighthawk app and was greeted by the message "Firmware Out of Date" and im unable to use the app to manage the modem/router, after doing some research I found that apparently there has been a bug in the app since March of this year but have not been able to find a resolution to the issue. I spoke to both Netgear and Spectrum (my ISP) and both just point the finger at each other, any one have a solution for this issue?

You're correct in that there's a problem with the app when it thinks the firmware is out of date. I'd just use the browswer to manage it.
Sadly, you can't update the firmware as its set by the ISP in their provisioning.

Yes, that is what im currently doing and it pretty much does what i need it to but it defeats the purpose of staying in the Netgear Ecosystem if the app doesnt work. i have another router i can access remotely with the app and has full functionality and i cant connect to my modem/router locally through the app, so ridiculous, i hope the devs fix the app soon it seems like its been like this most of 2021.
