C7000v2 Wifi connected without internet, then goes back to normal
My C7000v2 has been having issues over past few days. All started after the weekend when we disconnected and repainted the living room. Since then, the Wifi signal suddenly stalls, shows Connected wit...

your cable connections page doesn't look to bad but your logs show a bunch of line issues connecting back to the isp.
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
If you can, simply connect the modem right where the coax comes into the home. This prevents wiring in the home from being the issue. And some ISP’s charge if the wiring issue is in the home. So this helps prevent this.

Like I said on my last reply, we actually removed the coaxial splitter. The only thing different is the electrical power. I have it plugged into a 6-outlet surge protector now rather than a power strip. Could that be affecting it in anyway? That was going to be my next step: plug directly into normal wall outlet and see if that changes anything.
I will look at new coaxial cables. Any recommendations for my Netgear model?
I do have Xfinity. They bumped the 600mbps plan to 800mbps (which I didn't ask for) back . They started emailing me that my modem no longer is compatible with the new speed, but when they last notified me of that in Feb, I checked the Xfinity website, and my modem was listed as compatible. And the internet was working fine up until we disconnected this past weekend. Xfinity's website no longer lists it as a picture, but on the PDF of all compatible devices, it is listed for wired speeds up to 863 mbps. I refuse to rent from Xfinity, so I am hoping this is not them trying to back me into a corner and start giving them more $.
Currently at work now, so will regroup later with any more troubleshooting, if need be.

Also, what do you mean by amplifiers?

Amplifier is usually a device used to amplify your signal coming into he home. Usually, if you're a ways away from the hub, the signal can be weak and struggle. Most homes shouldn't need them as there should be a good enough incoming signal. And yet the still sometimes get installed.
I'd look to right where the coax comes into the home and connect it there and see if it helps.
It might be something as simple as a loose connector on the wall plate or a sketchy coax from manipulating it for removal.
Not the first time I've seen that happen.
The power shouldn't matter.

Your C7000v2 is certified for DOCSIS 3.0. Xfinity is in the process of converting their system to DOCSIS 3.1. By certification, DOCSIS 3.1 systems are backward compatible with DOCSIS 3.0 devices. Communications from Xfinity can be both deceptive and disingenuous with the ulterior motive of increasing their revenue stream out of your pocket.
What area of the country are you living in? Xfinity is doing a lot of upgrading of their systems with testing that causes a high number of short term disconnects. Attached is a router log from my location ( Pacific NW with dummy IP addresses). It can take systems time to recover from a disconnect.
Look carefully at your coax cables. Occasionally will will need to do a full power down (pull the power cord) on your C7000v2 and give it a restart.

The TV stand was also changed out during painting, changing the proximity of the other electronic devices to the C7000v2. It doesn't look like wireless interference?
