C7100V Xfinity WiFi not working for 2.4 GHz, but 5 GHz is fine
My router is really a Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi (C7100V) for Xfinity, bought on 6/10/2017, so it is now out of warranty. It has the latest version of the firmware. A few days ago, the 2.4 GHz WiFi stopped broadcasting, but the 5 GHz continues fine. Unfortunately, I need the 2.4 GHz for my wireless printer and smartphone; other devices are connecting fine on the broadcast 5 GHz SSID (the SSID is different than the default). In the past, the 2.4 GHz broadcast would occasionally disappear, but rebooting the router once or twice always restored it. Now, rebooting does not help; both band's front panel lights initially come on, but after a little while, the 2.4 GHz light goes off when the router starts coming online. I have tried various suggestions for other routers in these forums with similar issues, but to no avail. I have done a factory reset, ensured that the radios are enabled in the Advanced setup, tried turning off security (didn't help, and had to do another factory reset to restore AES security again), tried disabling guest networks, and tried different channels and modes for the 2.4 GHz, all to no avail. After all the hours spent, I am pretty fed up with Netgear's lack of troubleshooting help, and am turning to the community as a last resort before I go buy a different brand router. I did not see anything useful in the logs, but can post them if it will help. I have not tried re-flashing the firmware, as mentioned in https://community.netgear.com/t5/R6000-Series-AC-WiFi-Routers/R6400-Router-2-4ghz-not-working-but-5g..., since it was not reported as the solution. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Re: C7100V Xfinity WiFi not working for 2.4 GHz, but 5 GHz is fine
I have attached an RTF file with screenshots of my C7100V's wireless settings and logs (can be resized for easier reading), taken after a factory reset. The 2.4 GHz radio is still not on. It's front panel light goes off as soon as the DS/US light starts flashing, while the 5 GHz light stays on. Note in the wireless settings that the 2.4 GHz mode is not set, while the 5 GHz mode is; if I try to set the 2.4 GHz mode, then the 5 GHz mode gets set to a low value. Same nonsense happens if I try to set channels for the two radios. Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks.
