CM1000/Xfinity/Eero speed

I have Triple Play with Blast (250Mbps) with Xfinity.  My download speed was at 90 (laptop wireless).  Had them send their magic through the cables and it boost the speed up to 294 (again, laptop wireless) - great!  I then hooked up Eero to get the wifi to all the places in my home (several floors).  Things were going great.  So great that I decided it was time to stop paying Xfinity a rental fee each month and buy my own modem.  I settled on the NetGear CM1000.  While I have Triple Play with Xfinity, we do not use the voice at all - it was just cheaper to bundle it all that way - so I chose a modem that did not support voice.  Hooked up the CM1000, and the test speed on my wireless laptop is at 94.  Hardwired the laptop to the CM1000, and speed goes to 289.  So it appears the speed I am paying for is reaching the modem.  How do I get the modem to spew this speed to all the wireless devices in my home?  Xfinity said the speed gets "divided" between all my devices so pretty much unless I hardwire my laptop to the CM1000, I cannot expect to get that speed.  That just doesn't sound right.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

Total speed that is allocated to the modem to send to eero is 250Mbps. That is the package you have subscribed to and are paying for.

If you are getting hardwired speeds from Modem or Eero LAN port as roughly 200+ Mbps then it looks ok.

Now if your WIFI speeds are low, then most likely you are either on 2GHz network or your device is not capable of 250Mbps or you are too far to get 250 Mbps from the router.
