CM1200 modem
Can ADT and Roko be connected to the WAN ports of a CM1200 Modem? What are the pros and cons of set up my network that way?

At the time this modem was introduced,... this modem and a number of consumer routers featured Link Aggregation which uses more than one gigabit Ethernet link to support higher speeds.
LAG can be used with the CM1200 if you have a LAG supporting external wifi router.
but the CM1200 has four ethernet ports. ...!?

and absolutely no idea what the heck they were thinking.
- Maybe 4-port Ethernet modules were commonly available and cheap?
- Maybe they had a vague idea about aggregating more than two gigabit ports to get higher speed?
The modem supports exactly one consumer device. Could be a computer. Could be a router. (I suppose it) could be a Hulu box. But only one.
