CM400 Ethernet light is off

I currently have no internet, even if I connect my modem directly to my PC via Ethernet cable. If I connect to the router my WiFi networks are discoverable but say “no internet” when I connect to them from any device. Windows diagnostic says cannot connect (DNS Server). I’ve tried flushing my dns cache, and setting in properties for ipv4 and ipv6 to automatically select an ip and dns.

The thing that’s making my head spin is that the Ethernet light does not light up on my modem no matter what I do (all 4 of the other lights are green and not blinking) I have tried multiple Ethernet cables with the same result.

This happened at first during a very bad thunderstorm. Is it possible my modem is shot and I need to replace it? My ISP says my modem is online and receiving signal.

Try pressing the reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Even with a directly wired PC? If so, then I would get the modem replaced.
