Cable modem not listed on list of available network
Cable modem/router went back to factory set network name on list of available networks in my area. When I bought the unit, I gave it a new Network name & new password. Now it listsed as the factory set network name. I try to login in under admin with default password and new password I created it it does not work.

Have you tried actually doing a factory reset?
Maybe the isp updated firmware on it and it caused an issue. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.
Try pushing and holding reset for 7-15 seconds whiles its powered on.
That should get you back to the actual defautls.
