Can I get a night hawk to work with Century Link Modem ? Does Net Gear support PPOE?
I have a Century Link 1 gig service with a C3000Z modem router. Does Net Gear support Century link PPOE?

Yes it should work. However your ISP modem already has a built in router.
This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem.
Good Luck.

Let me try this I have a ZYXEL C3000Z Century Link 1 Gig PPoE when I plug in Net Gear or Eeero wireless system they will not handshake with the Century Link I can place the new wirelss systems in bridge and it works however that leaves the Century Link router "broadcasting" it's signal there for conflecting with Netgear the network copiers won't work!! Make any sense or do I need a drink?

I would contact your ISP about this and have them help you bridge the modem or help you configure the modems DMZ as suggested in the list.
Enure that the IP address of the modem isn't 192.168.1.1 as this is what NG routers use as there default IP address.
Good Luck.
