Trying to enter password to allow Xfinity to complete activation process. The provided password on new unit is “password “ but computer does not accept and we cannot connect to wifi as a result. Any suggestions?

Are you talking to Comcast/Xfinity or to your CM1150V? What, exactly,

The "admin" password for the CM1150V is "password". I doubt that
the password for your Comcast/Xfinity account is "password".> [...] computer does not accept [...]
A clear description of what does happen would be more useful than a
vague description of what does not happen.

you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations."wifi"? A CM1150V is a modem; it has no wireless capability (on its

for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read?Or call your ISP?
