Connect phone line to CM1000

Over the holiday weekend my Cox phone modem stopped working. The Cox store was closed for two days. I work from home so I purchased a Netgear CM1000. Can I use some type of adapter to connect my existing landline to the CM1000? I cannot return the modem so I need to find a solution.
