Customize Network for 2.4 GHz and 5GHz networks

Question

How do I customize my modem so that I have a 2.4 GHz network and 5 GHz network? I am trying to set up a smart camera system and it says that it can only run on a 2.4GHz which is why I wanted to customize it.&nbsp;

What modem are you referring too? I see you marked your post with a CM1000. CM series modems do not have a built in router nor any wifi abilities. Just modems only.&nbsp;

Yes it’s just a modem. So the only way to do this is through a router? I have a separate one. Is that where I could do that?

Yes. Any wifi configurations are done on wifi routers.&nbsp;
