How to display router ports on c3000
I am having trouble connecting a video camera and in the process of trouble shooting, the vendor has asked me to verify that router ports 2345 and 8859 are open. How do I display the status/availability of these ports??

Re: How to display router ports on c3000
When talking about the need to open ports, it is essential to specify the direction, inbound or outbound. All ports on a router are generally open in the outbound direction. Ports only need to be opened in the inbound direction. Port can be manually opened on a router using port forwarding. But before you go off and open them, you should confirm with the vendor that they need to be open in the inbound direction. It should only be necessary if you are trying to access your camera from the Internet. Even then, it's a bit unusual to open more than one port.
