How to reconfigure Netgear model c7800
I have been having trouble with my phone Samsung S8 connecting properly with the apps on my phone, the Wi-Fi through my modem in which is Xfinity I called them today to find out why my phone was having issues connecting to my Wi-Fi my phone internet and apps works fine when the Wi-Fi is turned off on my phone, and they told me that my Netgear nighthawk AC 3200 model c7800 needed to be reconfigured... How exactly do I do this? Thanks for all your help

How is the wifi settings on the modem configured? Use a wired PC and web browser to connect to the modems web page.
How is the SSID name configured? Single word name is recommended. No special characters.
Basic Wifi settings should work.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Is Smart Connect enabled on the modem?
Try a factory reset and setup from scratch.
