How to update the firmware of a cable modem?

How do I update the firmware of my cable modem for C3000-100NAS. I went into advanced settings and administration, but it does not show anything regarding router or firmware update.

       For cable-TV modem(+router)s, the ISP has exclusive control over the
    firmware.

      I'm having the same problems. I called my ISP and they told me I have to do it on here in my settings cause of the kind I have đŸ˜© My problems is my hulu is works just fine but whenever I game it either won't connect, or connects and then disconnects 10 min later.
