I moved from CA to NH and now my router (model c6300) will not connect to my new Comcast internet.

I bought this router in July or August and it worked great in CA.  I just moved to NH and when I tried to use it with my new Comcast service, it won't detect the internet connection.  The installation guy said it just kept downloading updates, but never connected.  Another Comcast rep said that maybe it is because the Comcast service in CA wasn't using the same system, out here they are an SA system, not Motorola system.  Any help?

Thanks,

Jenny

    Hello tahpejenny

I would try to factory reset the unit but the tech could be right comcast could of bought a older small cable company in that area and the infrastructure is different and may only use certain type of modems.
