It's about 2024 in a day and still no update on this device to get sites blocked... Netgear what i thought was top of a line product for networking failed and its disappointing. Spent $400 plus for the product and another $100+ for insurance for 5 years was such a waste if i cant fully manage my devices. Knowing this, I wouldn't recommend any of their products. Now i have to get rid of this crap and find a better solution... So frustrating! Why have the freaking option to blocking sites if it doesn't work! smh...

Did you read the earlier messages in this conversation?
Keyword blocking was a useful tool in the days before Internet security moved on and browsers insisted on https. Sadly, the people who design hardware cannot make their stuff "forward compatible" with whatever the Internet throws at us.
Your C7800 dates back to 2017. Seven years is a long time in Internet years.
Even if Netgear could tweak its devices to accommodate new Internet features, it can't do much for the C7800. You own a combined modem/router. ISPs do not allow Netgear, or users, to update firmware in these devices.
